OPTAN
Optical object counting
OPTAN is designed for counting small objects placed in a grid, whereas some positions of the grid do not have to be filled. Obtaining of the image is provided by a specially constructed industrial scanner. The scanned objects are illuminated by a wobble laser and the image is obtained by a high-resolution CCD line-scan camera. The construction of the device enables to set depth range of measured objects. All the mechanical construction, control of scanning and software are developed and manufactured by Neovision.

The maximum counting error is 0.1 %. Due to the own construction of the industrial scanner the scanning is very fast - it takes less than 6 seconds from placing the grid with the objects to the end of their counting. There can be thousands of objects per one grid.
